Joe, his wife Kate, and their three children live on Kenilworth Avenue. Joe has been a member of the Norwood Irish Shamrock Club, Holy Trinity Variety Players, St Nicholas Academy - Parent Teacher Organization, and The Norwood Democratic Club. Since Joe served on Norwood City Council once before (2004-2005); he is familiar with how the city works and he is also familiar with the issue of finances within the city of Norwood. Joe believes that we need someone in Ward 3 who has previously served on council during difficult financial times: he has done that. During his tenure on Norwood City Council, Joe also served as Chairperson of the Streets, Infrastructure, and Public Works Committee. Joe will be a representative who will openly communicate to ALL residents of Ward 3. He is committed to holding Semi-Annual Precinct Meetings, allowing him the opportunity to meet residents in each precinct to discuss their concerns or issues. Joe is looking forward to having the opportunity to represent the residents of Ward 3, and once again serving on Norwood City Council in 2012, if elected. |
