A complaint was filed against the Norwood Democratic party, stating that we implied several of our candidates are currently in office.
We want to be perfectly clear: Cheryl Cole, Joe S. Geers, Dave Keszei, Pete Tepe, and Gordon Williams are not current elected city officials. They are all candidates for the offices for which they are campaigning. They are all part of the “Norwood Democratic Team,” however, they are not part of the current elected body in the City of Norwood.
The majority of the current City Council, the Mayor, and the Treasurer are Democrats. Historically, political parties in Norwood have made claims of things that can be, or have been, accomplished by “teams,” and we're proud of our elected team members.
