I am honored to be Norwood’s Treasurer since 1998. I thank all citizens for placing their trust in me. My staff and I have worked hard to provide quality service for all of Norwood’s residents. We interact each day with residents, other City departments and the State of Ohio and Federal governments in a professional and efficient manner.
Some of our accomplishments are :
-We have instituted fair tax collection policies and procedures to ensure all businesses and residents are paying their fair share.
-In an era of increased Federal and State rules and regulations we have consistently passed every audit.
-We have operated the Treasurer’s office in an effective manner with less full time staff than when I took office 12 years ago.
-We have instituted an Electronic Banking program that enables residents to pay water bills, earnings tax, and building permits by credit card.
-We have developed a banking relationship that ensures City funds are available when needed while still earning market rate interest on government funds and invests excess City funds in allowable instruments.
I pledge to continue to improve the Treasurer's Department in this ever changing economic environment. I ask for your VOTE on November 3rd.
